Tammy Duckworth on Social Security

Oppose efforts to undermine Social Security

One of the greatest strengths of Social Security is that it is financed by a dedicated revenue stream and is self-funding. I want to ensure that programs or proposals aimed at stimulating the economy or balancing the budget do not undermine Social Security. I strongly oppose any effort to diminish the guarantee that Social Security represents. I will oppose efforts to undermine Social Security and will work to ensure that people who rely on these funding sources--people like my mom--are protected

Join us and learn more about how you can be a part of our intergenerational crusade."
